Mostly everyone around the world has cell phones. Now even parents are getting their young kids phones for emergencies. But do people know what risks they need to take when having a phone?
Pros
- They emit microwaves
- The microaves are held to your brain when you are talking
- There are claims that people have had brain tumors in the exact size, shape and position as the antenna on their cell phone.
Cons
- Cell phones use a very, very low level of radio frequency (rf) energy - too low to cause damage
- The type of energy emitted is non-ionizing - meaning it doesn't cause damage to chemical bonds or dna.
- Hundreds of millions of people have been using cell phones and cordless phones for years. If there were a problem, we would have seen it by now.
I guess the main question is do you really want to take tyhe risk of POSSIBLY getting a tumor? Me personally I sit there and text people I do not call anyone unless I need to or if someone calls me.
