Harry Potter in the new installment of the series. This movie has been separated into two parts because the book was more than 750 pages and there were many twists that Joanna K. Rowling, Producers of the film and the Warner Bros. Company has all agreed that two movies were appropriate. In this movie Lord Voldemort is growing in power having his Death Eaters taking over everything that will let the Dark Lord do as wishes. He has finally taken over the Ministry of Magic and he had also gained control of Hogwarts School. While this is going on Harry and his two friends on a "job" that Professor Dumbledore had left them.
I think that it is a good idea that this is happening because for a big fan like me I would agree that two movies are needed even though I do not want to wait to see what happens. But I think by the producers making two movies then they will be able to add more things that were in the book and fill the loopholes that they had left out. And like I said the reason for doing this is for all the twisted things that made the book awesome.

Can Cell Phones Really Cause BRAIN TUMORS?!

Mostly everyone around the world has cell phones. Now even parents are getting their young kids phones for emergencies. But do people know what risks they need to take when having a phone?

Pros

  • They emit microwaves

  • The microaves are held to your brain when you are talking

  • There are claims that people have had brain tumors in the exact size, shape and position as the antenna on their cell phone.

Cons

  • Cell phones use a very, very low level of radio frequency (rf) energy - too low to cause damage

  • The type of energy emitted is non-ionizing - meaning it doesn't cause damage to chemical bonds or dna.

  • Hundreds of millions of people have been using cell phones and cordless phones for years. If there were a problem, we would have seen it by now.

I guess the main question is do you really want to take tyhe risk of POSSIBLY getting a tumor? Me personally I sit there and text people I do not call anyone unless I need to or if someone calls me.

My passion is to be working with computers. I am always on the computer talking, making videos, burning CD's and DVD's, and playing online RPG's (role play games). I am not sure exactly what part of computers but I really want to get into technology and repair. But if that does not work I would want to get into gaming as a beta tester. I have been searching which colleges would be best for me and so far for computers it would be Oakton Community College. But my beta testing will be a bit difficult since I can not find one that would be worth going to.
I have been through a lot of training these past few years here at school and at home with my brother in law. He is a real computer nerd and he tries to teach me once in awhile when I am home and not working. I have taken A+ Computer Repair and Networking, which is a class that teaches the basics on how to switch parts inside the computer. Even though that class did teach me a lot I want to go further into the technology and actually have a challenge. I always have my brother in law fixing my computer, the major stuff anyway, but I want to be able to do that on my own.
The gaming industry is getting better and better every year. If my computer passion does not unfold then I would want gaming to be my secondary choice. Like I said before I play a lot of RPG's. But I play a lot more other types of games besides RPG's. I like playing shooting, adventure, war, and mainly I would try any game at least once. I think that I would be a great beta tester because my obsession of games. Not only that I have beta tested for my brother in law. He had made a game known as Legends of Fantasy which is not a real game but he needed my opinion because he knew that I would not be afraid to tell him that his game sucks and that he needs to make it better. I have also have made a few games in the past by myself but I got rid of them because I have been trying to perfect them but it does not work like that. I was always making mistakes and everything that's why I think it would be better if I just became a tester and not a maker. Making the games is much harder than just sitting in front of a big TV and saying to yourself, “The color needs work.” or “The characters need more work, they are not as bad as we want them to be.”
These are my main things I would want to get into as a profession and in college. I want to be a computer repair because it would be fun to work with my hands. And a beta tester because I love playing video games of any sort. I might just a degree in both so I can do both. I would like that more I think. Do computers on the side and beta testing for a career, or the other way around.

English IV
Mr. Hessert

There are a few images that mean a lot in this chapter. The one when Dr. Manhattan is thinking back at the time when he is in the bar with Eddie Blake and he shoots the pregnant lady. Dr. Manhattan looks down at the dead woman's body with his hand on his chin (page 15). Then the picture next to it is when they are back at the funeral, Mr. Manhattan is looking at Eddie's casket the same way. The next image is the one when Night Owl is remembering. At that time there was a large riot because the people did not want the watchmen to be around anymore (page 16). The comedian had thrown a grenade at the crowd of people because he was “tired” of everyone.
I feel this is important because it shows Mr. Manhattan not understanding human emotions like everyone else does. It tells us that he is trying to understand emotions as best as he can. But it also tells how Blake is really like. Before Dr. Manhattan looks down at the dead lady, and Blake is so worried about himself and does not care about what he had just done. Blake tells Dr. Manhattan that Dr. Manhattan could have prevented it and saved the lady, but he didn't because he does not care for human feelings and that he is turning into, what the comedian calls him, a flake. On page 16 when Night Owl and The Comedian was at that riot, Blake was being mean to everyone in the crowd and when they were mean to him he tossed a grenade into the crowd trying to clear the streets. And he did not care who he might have hurt or killed.
The last place we encountered something like this was when in the first chapter when Rorschach was talking to Mr. Manhattan at the government base and Rorschach said something to Laurie about rape being a moral lapse and Dr. Manhattan just continued doing what he was doing until Laurie told him to get rid of Rorschach. But this proves that he does not understand how human emotions work and is only doing what he is told to do. It also implies that people do not know that much about their own or other peoples emotions and just help when they are needed.

Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles The Game

Has anyone tried out the new Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles? I was at my friends house last weekend and we sat there for hours playing on his Wii playing this game.

The Umbrella Chronicles is with the original characters such as Jill, Wesker, and Chris. In the first installment of Resident Evil, we found out that the S.T.A.R.S Bravo Team Captain Wesker had worked for Umbrealla. And that he was also the one that had everyone killed in order to get battle data from the battle with the infected creatures.

In Umbreall Chronicles, its like a history of events starting fromt he first game (Directors cut) all the way to the third game (Nemisis). But this game goes into after the Nemisis when both Chris and Jill joined a regional biocontainment squad and encounters their old captain taking over the town they arrived in.
